Nathanael

Well on July 15, 2009 at 2:15 p.m. we welcomed Nathanael Travis into our family. He weighed 8lbs 13 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. His brothers are soo excited to have him home. They are always asking if they can hold him and feed him - and they even ask if they can throw away his diapers. So cute.

This picture was a few hours after he was born.

this was after his first bath

just a cute picture

he rested his foot like this - I couldn't resist

Proud papa
and last - but not least a bunch of excited big brothers

4th of July

Well for the 4th of July we had Travis' friend Peter come over and we had a bbq and we lit fireworks. It was really nice. And yes - we let the kids light off some of their own fireworks (under close supervision). They thought it was great and had a lot of fun!

We should find out later this week when we are going to have this baby (I hope). I am so done being pregnant! As soon as he is born - I will post pictures. Until then TTFN

Anyway - enjoy the pictures!

Just an Update

Well, alot has happened that past little while. I decided that being pregnant was not enough. So on June 9th I decided to have the doctors take out my apendix too. Not kidding. I woke up in the middle of the night with a strange pain in my side that did not go away all day. It really hurt to touch it - so I decided to call the doctors office and go into the hospital to see what was wrong. Sure enough appendicitis. So they cut a nice 6" incision in my side and took it out. They left the baby to finish growing (after all I was only 35 weeks pregnant). Then they told me to go home and heal. I kinda laughed at them - but we are doing much better.

My mom was soo wonderful. She flew up to help me out and we spent a week sitting around and enjoying each others company. I felt kinda bad because I wasn't up for much more than going out for lunch. But it was sure nice to have her help. Even if Lucas wouldn't let her do much more than give him kisses. Travis, Fred and Sam flew down to Utah for his brothers wedding (as planned) especially since mom was here we figured it would be okay. And it was. The baby is still growing stronger and stronger everyday. Trust me, he is kicking right were the incision is. We should be finding out soon when they are going to take him. The doctors said that since I have had the surgery and that I won't fully recover until the baby is out that they will take him about a week early.

Oh and Fred graduated Kindergarten!! I am soo proud of that kid. He is so smart!

Anyway here are pictures from last week. Sorry that I haven't posted any for a while.

Is it Sour enough?!?

Okay - Fred Loves - I mean absolutely LOVES Sour things. So for Travis' birthday he bought himself some of those Sour War Heads. Fred begged and begged him to try one. So, Travis let him... Well the pictures speak for themselves.

At first it tastes good and then...

The sour kicks in...

Then the reaction of what the heck did Dad give me...

Then get it out of my mouth what am I supposed to do with this thing...

Water please!!! Almost a look of pain - but it was too funny not to make sure that I got pictures of it. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did watching his face, priceless!!

Mothers Day part 2

We did stop up in the canyon and let the boys play throwing rocks into the river. They had a lot of fun. Plus, what kid doesn't like throwing rocks into water.

Mothers Day

For Mother's Day we decided to Drive up to Mt. Rainier. It was a very long drive - and the pass that we took was still closed - so we turned around and found this drive-in got a shake and let the kids play in the park behind it. It was sure a perfect Mother's Day!

Here is Fred - being the little monkey that he is!

Sam and Lucas playing on the slide.

Next to the park was this musuem with railroad stuff - the museum was closed - but the kids could play on the railroad stuff they had out front - they had fun walking on the lines.

Just a perfect picture of Travis - I couldn't get him to smile so I took this one instead.

Just some cute pictures

I got Fred and Sam sharing a swing - it was very cute. Fred and Lucas were doing the same - but I couldn't get out there fast enough with the camera to take a picture - maybe next time.
